Pip (“we,” “the app”) is an anxiety and panic-relief app. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it’s stored, and your choices.
Pip does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your name, email, or any personal contact information to use the app. Every feature works without any sign-up.
Locally on your device, and backed up to our secure cloud storage:
This data is tied to an anonymous identifier automatically created when you first open the app — not to your name, email, or any other personally identifying information. We do not know who you are.
We do not collect:
If you subscribe to Pip Premium, your purchase is processed entirely through Apple’s App Store using Apple’s standard payment system. We use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service, to confirm your subscription status. RevenueCat receives transaction information from Apple necessary to verify your subscription (such as your anonymous purchase/transaction ID) — it does not receive your name, email, or payment details, which are handled directly by Apple.
Your data is stored using secure third-party cloud infrastructure providers, tied only to the anonymous identifier described above — never to your name or contact information. To provide reliable service, this infrastructure may store data across multiple regions, which can include the United States, the European Union, or other locations, depending on operational and performance needs. Regardless of where data is stored, we apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect it, consistent with applicable data protection laws, including appropriate safeguards for any international data transfers.
Journal entries may contain personal reflections, including content related to your mental health and emotional wellbeing. We treat this content as sensitive. It is:
Pip is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner inconsistent with applicable children’s privacy laws, including the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Because the app allows free-text Journal entries, we encourage parents and guardians to be involved in a young person’s use of any app that includes personal journaling, including this one. If you believe a child has provided information through this app in a way that raises a concern, please contact us at drivn.contact@gmail.com so we can address it.
Our app is designed for users of all ages. If you are under 18, you must review this policy with your parent or legal guardian. By letting you use the app, your parent or guardian agrees to it and takes responsibility for your use of the app. If you are under 13 (or under the digital age of consent in your country), you may only use this app with the permission and supervision of your parent or legal guardian.
Parents and legal guardians have full control over their child’s experience. You have the right to review the information we collect from your child, ask us to delete your child’s data at any time, and revoke your consent to let your child use the app. To make any of these requests, contact us at drivn.contact@gmail.com.
Since Pip doesn’t collect identifying information, there’s no account to access or delete in the traditional sense. However, you can:
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated “Last updated” date above.
